Testimonials from the 2005 Winners
--Kyle Connelly, 17, Utica, Michigan

From the moment I stepped foot off the plane in Indianapolis, I knew I was in for the trip of my life. When my mother and I made our way to the racetrack on Friday afternoon we had no clue what lay ahead of us. We took seats on the entrance to Indy turn one, not knowing we would see Ralf Schumacher slam the outer wall right before our eyes. This crash proved to be more that just your everyday brush with the wall, as the Michelin’s tire failure would force all the Michelin teams to pull out of Sunday’s race. Even though the race went on with only six cars it was the best experience of my life. Not only was it fun but it was inspirational at the same time. Being able to sit next to Chris Economaki and hear all thing he has been able to do over the years was one of the most inspiring moments in my life. This trip showed me where I want to be spending the next thirty to forty years of my life.
