Chris Economaki has photographed, written about, promoted and
announced every kind of motorsport racing event. His comments
on television while working for ABC, CBS and ESPN, along with
his tenure as editor and publisher of National Speed Sport News
has earned him the title, "The Dean of American Motorsports."

- Participants must be between 13 and 22 years of
age as of 31 December 2007
- Participants must be a high school/college student, or recent graduate
- Participants must write/report and submit a story, published in a newspaper, magazine, high school or college newspaper, or broadcast on TV, cable, or radio
- Articles printed/reported on the Internet are eligible
for consideration if they are published on an accredited website
Articles/Reports must pertain to motorsports (See FAQ
for list of eligible motorsports categories)
- Articles/Reports must be printed/broadcasted within
the 2007 Motorsport calendar
- Articles/Reports must be submitted to Maxim Sports
Management by 8 December 2007 (Submission details below and Entry
Form here)
- The decision of the selection panel is final
- EAJA reserve the right not to award prizes
- EAJA reserves the right to amend eligibility for the award and/or the internship, based on the unanimous vote of the selection panel
- Submissions must include three (3) complete, original copies of the publication in which the article appeared (photocopies are not acceptable). If the feature was broadcast on TV, cable,
or radio, three (3) VHS, DVD, or Audio CD copies must be submitted of the entire program in which the feature appeared, not just
the segment itself.
- Applicants must submit a completed Entry Form (Click
