has earned him the title, "The Dean of American Motorsports."

Description
The third annual Economaki Aspiring Journalist Award invites young journalists to write/report and submit:
  • A motorsport-themed article that has been published in an accredited publication or on an accredited website
  • Or a motorsport-themed report that has been broadcasted by an accredited media outlet
Age: Students aged 13-22 years are eligible to participate

Jugdes: An esteemed panel of motorsports journalists will review the entries and select one winner

The Prize:
  • A uniguely designed trophy
  • A trip to a 2008 motorsport event as a guest of Red Bull
  • An opportunity to meet and interview Chris Economaki and a Red Bull motorsport athlete
  • An opportunity to have a report published/broadcast by one of the affiliated media outlets
  • An opportunity to be considered for an internship at one of the participating media outlets
Internship:
  • If the winner is a high school graduate, he/she will be eligible to be considered for an internship at one of the participating media outlets
  • The winner will be required to interview for this position, as well as submit additional pieces of work, a resume and references
